book about "Dark Side of the
Moon" coming
Title will include new interviews with band members
Da Capo Press will publish "The
Dark Side of the Moon: The Making of Pink Floyd's Masterpiece"
on Oct. 17.
Author John Harris interviewed
each band member for the 224-page book, which examines the making
of the album and its influence on groups such as Nine Inch
Nails and Radiohead.
Harris is a London-based journalist whose work
has appeared in the NME, Mojo, Q, Select, Rolling Stone, New Statesman,
and the Independent. Da Capo Press published his "Britpop!
Cool Britannia and the Spectacular Demise of English Rock"
in 2004.
Da Capo Press is a subsidiary of Perseus
