Roger Waters in Rolling Stone magazine
Ex-Floyd member details chance meeting with former bandmate

Roger Waters is interviewed in the March 14 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. In a piece titled "Roger Waters Breathes Easier," the ex-Pink Floyd frontman answers the usual questions regarding the longevity of Floyd's popularity and his split with the band.

He also confirms rumors that he bumped into Floyd drummer Nick Mason on the island of Mustique shortly after Christmas. "He's invited me to dinner, and I shall go," Waters states, "because we were very close friends all those years."

The article also confirms Waters will be releasing a new rock record, "a concept album about a torture survivor from the Balkans who drives a New York cab," according to writer Nathan Brackett.
