"electronic tribute" to Pink
Floyd released
Sequel is part of extensive series of cover albums
Vitamin
Records Inc. released "The Electronic Tribute to Pink
Floyd Vol. 2" on Feb. 5. The album is the sequel to the
Los Angeles, Calif., label's "The Electronic Tribute to
Pink Floyd," released two years ago.
The album
features a diverse selection of Floyd songs including "Time,"
"Is There Anybody Out There?," "Lucifer Sam"
and "Brain Damage," recorded with "spectral beats
and haunting organs."
Vitamin has
released nearly 40 similar tributes to acts as diverse as Led
Zeppelin, The Police, Yanni, and Ricky Martin,
in swing, jazz, string and electronic styles.
