Ezrin to participate in industry panel
Pink Floyd collaborator will speak
at public event
will participate in an entertainment industry panel in New York
City. The Pink Floyd collaborator
will appear as part of The Global Entertainment and Media Summit,
March 2-3. The weekend event will take place at the New Yorker Hotel
Grand Ballrooms and Conference Centers, 8th Avenue at 34th Street,
New York, N.Y.
produced, played and written material with Pink
Floyd. His contributions have appeared on "The
Wall," "A Momentary
Lapse of Reason," and "The
Division Bell" albums, as well as on David
Gilmour's "About Face."
He's also produced material for Kiss, Alice Cooper,
Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel and Lou Reed.
He will take
part in the "Artists and Industry: Creating the New Entertainment
Business" panel being held on Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m.,
and will lead a mentoring session the same day. Ezrin will also
participate in the "Artist Development from the Producer's
Perspective" panel on Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m., along with
music heavyweight Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews
Band, Peter Gabriel) and others.
Ezrin is a
consultant for Clear Channel Internet Group, a division of
Clear Channel Communications Inc., the owner of Champ 101.3 in Colchester,
Vt., which airs "Floydian Slip."
