Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett to be featured on VH-1
VH-1 Classic to air Floyd weekend

Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett will be the subject of a "Legends" program on music cable channel VH-1. The program will air Sunday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.; and Jan. 23 at 2 a.m.

VH-1 Classic will cross-promote the event with a "Pink Floyd Weekend" starting at 6 a.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 12. The companion channel launched by VH-1 in May 2000 will air 48 hours of Pink Floyd, including back-to-back music videos from "The Wall," "Wish You Were Here," "Dark Side of the Moon" and more.

VH1 Classic presents music videos and live concert footage 24 hours a day by classic rock, soul and dance artists, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, The Who, and others.
