VH1 Classic to air "David Gilmour in Concert"
Two-hour special to coincide with U.S. DVD release from Pink Floyd guitarist

VH1 Classic will air "David Gilmour in Concert" at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 5. The special coincides with the US release date of the concert as a Capitol Records DVD.

The two-hour performance was filmed at the Meltdown Festival at London's Royal Festival Hall last June and includes guest appearances from Floyd's Rick Wright, Robert Wyatt (Soft Machine) and Sir Bob Geldof (Boomtown Rats, Pink from "Pink Floyd The Wall" film).

The special will include segments of VH1 Classic's interview with Gilmour. It'll be followed by a "Headline Act" block of Floyd videos.

The cable channel will repeat the entire broadcast Nov. 9, 9 p.m. ET; and again the week of Dec. 23.

VH1 Classic is a 24-hour network that presents music videos, concerts and music specials featuring classic rock, soul and pop artists from the '60s, '70s and '80s.
