Band earns three spots in Rolling Stone poll

Pink Floyd has three albums on Rolling Stone magazine's "100 Greatest Albums of All Time" readers' poll. The list is published in the Oct. 17 issue.

Floyd entries on the list are: "Wish You Were Here" (1975), #100; "The Wall" (1979), #31; and "Dark Side of the Moon" (1973), #11.

More than 23,000 readers participated in the poll -- submitting their entries via email, fax, mail and the Rolling Stone Web site.

The top three albums are: "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1967), The Beatles, #3; "Nevermind" (1991), Nirvana, #2; and "Revolver" (1965), The Beatles, #1.
