Roger Waters joins band for four-song set

Former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters joined the band for a four-song set at July 2's "Live 8" concert in London's Hyde Park.

The band, including David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright, played "Breathe," "Money," "Wish You Were Here" and "Comfortably Numb" before taking a final bow, arm in arm (pictured).

Waters, who was all smiles for much of the performance, commented, "It's great to be playing again with these three guys," before playing "Wish You Were Here." "This is for the people who can't be here — especially Syd," referring to long-departed band co-founder Syd Barrett.

Waters told the BBC further activity with the reunited band beyond "Live 8" was unlikely, but "never say never."

The performance was the first time Waters had played with the group since 1981.

Nearly 200,000 people attended the London show, which was broadcast and netcast worldwide.
