DVD coming in December
Long-awaited concert disc includes full performance of "Dark
will release Pink Floyd's "Pulse"
as a two DVD set in the United States on Dec. 6.
The film will
combine live concert footage with behind-the-scenes material shot
backstage during the band's 1994 tour of "The
Division Bell" album.
material on the DVD will come from the group's performance at London's
Earls Court during Floyd's 14-night residency. The second disc will
contain the first ever live filmed performance of Floyd's "Dark
Side of the Moon."
The set will
be mastered by long-time Floyd collaborator James Guthrie
and will feature 5.1 Surround Sound. The package will be designed
by long-time Floyd designer Storm
was released as a two-CD set in 1995. It's been available on VHS
since June '95.
Sony has bumped the release date to Jan. 31.
