“Floydian Slip” coming to Radio 252

radio 252“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on Radio 252  on Feb. 5. The station will carry the show Sundays at 8:00 p.m. (ET).

Radio 252 is an Internet radio station based in Wilson County, NC. The station was founded in January 2008 by Don Flowers.

More than 30 affiliate stations have now joined the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Zenith Classic Rock broadcasting on FM/AM/DAB

“Floydian Slip” affiliate Zenith Classic Rock will broadcast over-the-air to southeastern Ireland for the next eight weeks.

The Waterford station, streaming year-round online, will broadcast at 103.8 FM, 1584 AM Stereo and DAB Friday through Sunday through March 4.

The station’s annual over-the-air stint began Jan. 1, as they continue to try to obtain a permanent license. (Read more: “Help Floydian Slip affiliate obtain a full-time license”)

“Floydian Slip” coming to WYAV (Myrtle Beach, SC)

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on WYAV 104.1 FM in Myrtle Beach, SC, on Jan. 8. The station will carry the show Sundays at 8:30 p.m. (ET).

“The Wave” is a 100,000-watt classic rock station serving the South Carolina coast. Arbitron ranks Myrtle Beach the 159th largest radio market in the country. It’s the show’s fourth largest market after Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC (#24), Cincinnati, OH (#29) and Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY (#142).

“Montana’s Best Rock” is a 50,000-watt station owned by Cherry Creek Radio and serving south-western Montana.

KRSN adds second weekly airing

KRSN 1490 AM in Los Alamos, NM, has added a second weekly airing of “Floydian Slip.”

The show is now heard Thursdays at 7 p.m. (MT) in addition to the station’s previous day and time of Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

The station preempts one Tuesday night airing each month in order to cover the local county council meeting.

Like most “Floydian Slip” affiliates, the station also streams on the Net.

“Classic Rock 103.1″ is a 1,200-watt station serving eastern Kentucky.
