He was 71.<\/p>\n<p>Woolven was best known for his work with <strong>Thin Lizzy<\/strong>, including Lizzy-splinter projects from <strong>Phil Lynott<\/strong> and <strong>Wild Horses<\/strong>. He also did work with <strong>David Bowie<\/strong>, <strong>UFO<\/strong>, <strong>Tony Iommi<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n<p>He recorded &#8220;About Face&#8221; with <strong>Andy Jackson<\/strong>.
