Sony Music will release a greatly-expanded edition of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” for the album’s 50th anniversary. It will include a number of previously unreleased alternate versions and live recordings.<\/p>\n

The album drops Dec. 12 and will be available on 3LP, 2CD, Blu-ray, digital and as a boxset.<\/p>\n

Long-time Floyd\"Wish<\/a> collaborator James Guthrie<\/strong> has remixed the original 1975 album in Dolby Atmos.<\/p>\n

The package also includes 25 bonus tracks made up of nine studio rarities; and 16 live recordings made by bootlegger Mike Millard<\/strong> at Los Angeles Sports Arena on April 26, 1975. This marks those bootleg recordings’ first official release. The live audio has been restored and remastered by Steven Wilson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the previously-unreleased tracks is an early version of “Welcome to the Machine,” titled “The Machine Song (Demo #2, Revisited).” Roger Waters<\/strong>‘s original home recording demo of the track is also part of the package.<\/p>\n
