\"8-Tracks\"<\/a>Pink Floyd will release its latest compilation of previously-released material under the title of “8-Tracks” on June 5.<\/p>\n

Available on CD and LP, the disc will include eight songs from the the\u00a0 band’s “glory years” of 1971-79.<\/p>\n

The highlight will be the full version of “Pigs on the Wing (Parts 1 and 2)” that includes a Snowy White<\/strong> solo in the middle. It was previously available only on the 8-track version of the 1977 “Animals” album; and on White’s 1995 compilation “Goldtop.”<\/p>\n

This collection has been edited by Steven Wilson<\/strong> using sound effects from the original multitrack recordings for a continuous listening experience.<\/p>\n
