Early Pink Floyd<\/strong> producer Joe Boyd <\/strong>and musician Robyn Hitchcock<\/strong> are touring the western United States.<\/p>\n

Calling it the “Chinese White Bicycles” tour, Boyd talks and reads from his book, “White Bicycles,” while Hitchcock provides musical interludes. (See “Early Pink Floyd producer writes book.”<\/a>)<\/p>\n

“We have taken this double-act to the Green Man and SXSW festivals and it seems to have gone down OK,” Boyd writes, “so we’re taking it on the road!”<\/p>\n

Boyd produced Pink Floyd’s first single, “Arnold Layne,” and has worked with many other bands, including Fairport Convention<\/strong>, Nick Drake<\/strong>, Bob Dylan<\/strong>, REM<\/strong> and others.<\/p>\n
