Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters<\/strong> opened his 2010\/11 tour of Floyd’s seminal “The Wall” tour last night in Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.<\/p>\n

For whatever credence you might put in critical reviews, you can see what The Associated Press (AP), The Star, the UK’s Telegraph and Calgary’s 660News thought of the show.<\/p>\n

The AP might have been most laudatory: “Many times when classic rock artists perform, there’s an air of nostalgia, but not with Waters. Not only does the material seem fresh, it also appears 2010 is the right time for this tour, probably because of the technology that catapults it into the stratosphere.”<\/p>\n

The Star was the most critical of these four reviews, calling the show a “cash-in,” and describing the music as “actually kind of drab and heartless, not much different from what you\u2019d hear at one of those Classic Albums Live nights at the Phoenix were it not for the production values.”<\/p>\n
