The song was featured on &#8220;Floydian Slip&#8221; show #848, an annual all-covers edition of the show. For its efforts, the group received $100 in Pink Floyd merchandise from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gomerch.com\/pinkfloyd\/\">The Official Web Store of Pink Floyd<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The trio describes itself as &#8220;the unholy spawn of the Rutles and Sex Pistols, weened on the milk of Pink Floyd,&#8221; and has recorded many Floyd songs that, in classic punk fashion, clock in at just over a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Second prize went to <strong>Big Lee<\/strong> for &#8220;Another Brick Inside the Mason&#8217;s Wall,&#8221; a hip hop interpretation of Floyd&#8217;s &#8220;Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2).&#8221; Second prize was a hardcover copy of Mark Blake&#8217;s &#8220;Comfortably Numb: The Inside Story of Pink Floyd&#8221; and a CD copy of &#8220;A Foot in the Door: The Best of Pink Floyd.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Punk Floyd has won the 2nd Annual &#8220;Floydian Slip&#8221; Surrogate Bands Pink Floyd Cover Contest.
