{"id":5763,"date":"2014-10-17T09:22:45","date_gmt":"2014-10-17T13:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.floydianslip.com\/news\/?p=5763"},"modified":"2014-10-17T09:22:45","modified_gmt":"2014-10-17T13:22:45","slug":"zabriskie-point-film-to-be-re-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.floydianslip.com\/news\/2014\/10\/zabriskie-point-film-to-be-re-released\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Zabriskie Point&#8221; film to be re-released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hollywood Classics<\/strong> will re-release the 1970 film &#8220;Zabriskie Point&#8221; in the U.K. on Oct. 24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pink Floyd<\/strong> contributed music for the film, directed by <strong>Michelangelo Antonioni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hollywood Classics will release the film in Digital Cinema Package (DCP) format.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are aiming to re-release a variety of vintage films onto DCP throughout the next 12 months and while reviewing the selection of features available to us, we also realized Pink Floyd was gearing up to release their new album,\u201d Hollywood Classics managing director <strong>John Ramchandani<\/strong> tells Variety.<\/p>\n<p>The film will open at London&#8217;s Curzon Mayfair theater Oct. 24, and then at Picturehouse Cinemas theaters across the U.K. beginning Nov. 2.<\/p>\n<p>Hollywood Classics holds the\u00a0theatrical distribution rights for all pre-1986 MGM films in markets outside North America.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood Classics will re-release the 1970 film &#8220;Zabriskie Point&#8221; in the U.K. on Oct. 24.
