{"id":8684,"date":"2018-03-24T08:41:07","date_gmt":"2018-03-24T12:41:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floydianslip.com\/news\/?p=8684"},"modified":"2018-03-29T08:18:36","modified_gmt":"2018-03-29T12:18:36","slug":"pulse-to-be-reissued-on-vinyl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.floydianslip.com\/news\/2018\/03\/pulse-to-be-reissued-on-vinyl\/","title":{"rendered":"Pulse to be reissued on vinyl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n&#8220;Pulse,&#8221; the 1995 double-disc document of <strong>Pink Floyd<\/strong>&#8216;s mid-&#8217;90s &#8220;Division Bell&#8221; tour will be re-released on heavyweight vinyl this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Pink Floyd Records will release the album May 18 as four 180-gram LPs, each with its own outer sleeve, plus a 52-page hardcover book, all contained in a thick card slipcase.<\/p>\n<p>One bonus on this new set is the inclusion of &#8220;One of These Days,&#8221; recorded Oct. 21, 1994, at Earl&#8217;s Court. It was included on the original LP and cassette versions of &#8220;Pulse,&#8221; but left off the CD pressing. It was also included on the &#8217;95 CD single for &#8220;High Hopes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The re-issue was remastered from original tapes by <strong>James Guthrie<\/strong>, <strong>Joel Plante<\/strong> and <strong>Bernie Grundman<\/strong>. Hipgnosis&#8217;s <strong>Aubrey Powell<\/strong> and <strong>Peter Curzon<\/strong> handled design duties. The two worked on the original sleeve with late Hipgnosis co-founder <strong>Storm Thorgerson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few years, Floyd has released its entire studio collection as stereo remasters on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl.
