Hope when you get to the states i”ll get to see you….and bring Greg. That was a strange night in NYC! I was rather freaked out after I almost didn’t get in….Is Nick perhaps playing? A lot of catching up….

  2. Steven Goodson says:

Please say you’re coming to Australia!!!!!!

  3. I LOVE David Gilmour’s work. Over a long time (36 of my 49 years on this planet); I have spent many decades being entranced, and artistically inspired-(painting and drawing to his guitar solos)- with Pink Floyd with Gilmour’s guitar and lyric work with Pink Floyd; and in his solo albums like “About Face”, and “On an Island”. He has always made his guitar another contemplative, counterpoint VOICE, to his own soothing vocals. Without Gilmour’s melodic harmonious angelic vocals/guitar inputs, Roger Waters’ searing intelligent aggression would have fell flat in their group’s endeavors.I am really looking forward to another complex facet of Gilmour’s; signature musically empathic pieces. Whether growling it out scathingly; as in “Dogs of War”, or the psychological, soul-searching of the Zeitgeist in the solo piece “Murder”; David Gilmour pleases, l often like, an unpredictable musical chameleon; whose every color combination mirrors contemporary mind, body and, most importantly ‘the spirit.

  4. Well, I would be amazed if the tickets did not sell out. Please tour New York, Radio City… if Mr. Gilmour prefers a more intimate setting. I’d really love to see his work live again. Please?

David is showing a Eurocentric bias by not announcing NA tour dates. But after the rip-off that was the last Pink Floyd album I don’t feel that we are missing that much.
