As promised yesterday, here’s another way you can help expand the reach of the “Floydian Slip” radio program, and enter our latest contest. Announcing: Floydian Slip’s “Sign On and Shine On Campaign.”
We’ll be rolling out multiple campaigns to target classic rock stations around the country that seem like natural homes for our weekly hour of Pink Floyd. First up: 96.5 WKLH in Milwaukee.

We’ve created an interactive map to display the stations of our Random Precision Radio Network.
Visitors who view the map can click on any station for “Floydian Slip” broadcast days and times.
Our network’s grown to 12 stations with additions of Rock100DIZ, this weekend; and Power 96, coming on board next weekend.
We’ve also updated our online “pitch” database of stations we’ve approached to carry our show. So far, we’ve contacted more than 400 stations, with many on-the-fence whether or not to join our network.

Floyd renews EMI contract

Pink Floyd has signed a new five-year contract with its long-time record label EMI Music.
According to an EMI press release, under the new agreement, EMI will continue to market and distribute the band’s catalogue, and “all legal disputes between the band and the company have been settled” as a result of the new deal.
Relations between the band and its label had been contentious, as Floyd brought suit against EMI for alleged unpaid royalties, and for selling its tracks piecemeal, an industry practice called “unbundling,” which Floyd claimed was prohibited by the band’s contract.
“Pink Floyd are one of the most important and influential bands of all time and I know I speak for everyone at EMI when I say that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with them,” EMI Group CEO Roger Faxon said. “We’re looking forward to continuing to help the band reach new and existing fans through their incredible body of work.
“And, by the way, which one’s Pink?”

Floydian Slip coming to Power 96, Faribault, Minn.

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KQCL 95.9 FM in Faribault, Minn., next weekend.
The show will air on “Power 96” each Sunday at 8 p.m. Central time beginning Jan. 16.
KQCL is a 3,000-watt classic rock station broadcasting to southern Minnesota. Faribault is approximately 50 miles south of Minneapolis/St. Paul, and the station’s signal reaches into the outskirts of the Twin Cities region.
The station becomes the 12th affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created last summer when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.
Shine on, Minnesota …
Floydian Slip coming to Rock100DIZ

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on Internet radio station Rock100DIZ this weekend.
The show will air on the station each Saturday night at 6 p.m. Eastern time.
“Rock100DIZ.com is the perfect fit for Floydian Slip!” says Director of Operations “Capn” Chris Hill. “Join us Saturdays from 6 to 7 to take that stroll down memory lane with an hour of non-stop Pink Floyd hosted by Craig Bailey.”
Rock100DIZ is owned by the Aquarius 7 Broadcasting Network of Winter Park, FL. The station signed on Oct. 1, 2007, 12 years after its namesake, WDIZ Rock 100.3 FM, went off the air.
The station becomes the 11th affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created last summer when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.
