David Gilmour released today “Between Two Points,” the second single from his upcoming album “Luck and Strange.”
A cover of a song by The Montgolfier Brothers, originally from their 1999 “Seventeen Stars” album, the track features Romany Gilmour on vocals and harp. Romany is the daugher of David and the album’s lyricist Polly Samson.
“Between Two Points” is the second preview from “Luck and Strange,” which will drop Sept. 6. “The Piper’s Call” was released April 25.

Orchid Classics has released “Zero Hour,” the first track from composer Michael Berkeley‘s upcoming album “Collaborations.” The song features guitar and vocal work by David Gilmour.
“Zero Hour” is about the Ukranian war. Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys also sings on the track.
Berkeley is a classical composer, broadcaster and member of the House of Lords.
“Collaborations,” dropping June 14, will feature collaborations Berkeley has worked on throughout his career.

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KROK 95.7 FM in Leesville, LA, next week. The station will carry the show Saturday nights at 10 CT.
“Channel 957” is a 25,000-watt adult album alternative (AAA) station serving west-central Louisiana.
It’s the latest station to join the Random Precision Radio Network, a collection of more than 110 broadcasters that air “Floydian Slip,” produced in our Shelburne, Vt., studio.
