Floyd beats Bowie

Posted March 24, 2011 by Floydian Slip

Pink Floyd beat David Bowie in Classic Rock 102.5’s “Tournament of Rock” this morning.

“50-43,” announces Program Director Sean Green. “Bowie was ahead by 14 at half time. People just assumed Floyd would win and then had to make up some serious votes, but they did it.”

That means Floyd moves to the Final Four, battling either Tom Petty or Led Zeppelin Friday afternoon at about 4:20 (MT).

50-43? Really? A little too close for comfort.
