Since we started our campaign to expand “Floydian Slip” to radio stations everywhere, we’ve had lots of people ask what they can do to help bring the show to their local station.

We’ve just made our database of radio stations available at floydianslip.com, and encourage you to lend your voice of support by contacting the station(s) in your area.

Here’s the searchable database and some simple suggestions for what to tell stations.

And don’t forget the “Floydian Slip” mantra for new affiliates: Sign on and shine on!

ErrorFM has signed on to carry the “Floydian Slip” radio show.

The U.K.-based netcaster will begin carrying the show this Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11 p.m. EDT (UTC -4).

“Floydian Slip” will be heard on ErrorFM’s Channel 1, “Personality Radio,” which has been streaming since 2002.

The company also operates Channel 2, “Indiepop,” which launched in 2007.

Both streams can be heard at www.errorfm.com.

WIZN 106.7 FM in Burlington has signed on to carry the “Floydian Slip” radio show. The station will begin airing the show 8 p.m. Sundays on Sept. 27.

“We’re excited to have ‘Floydian Slip’ on WIZN, not only because it’s the quintessential Floyd show, but also because it’s a Burlington icon,” says WIZN Program Director Matt Grasso. “We feel like the show is finally home where it belongs.”

“WIZN was one of the stations I listened to and dreamed of working for when I was getting into college radio and spending vacations back home in Vermont,” says host Craig Bailey. “To think the show is joining The Wizard’s line-up is really exciting.”

“Floydian Slip” went off-the-air June 7 after a more than 13-year run on Champ 101.3 in Burlington. Bailey had produced the show for other stations prior to Champ, going back to his senior year of college in 1989.

Since Champ cancelled the show, Bailey has been working to bring it back to the air on multiple stations as a syndicated offering under the moniker of the Random Precision Radio Network.

He’ll resume production Sept. 19 with Show #702 on Burlington’s online station WBKM, the first station to join the new network. WBKM carries the show 10 p.m. Saturdays.

Starting Sept. 27, you’ll be able to hear “Floydian Slip” Sunday nights at 8 on WIZN 106.7 FM, in Burlington, Vt.

We’re glad to have the Wizard aboard as our second affiliate station.

Watch for a more formal announcement tomorrow …

WBKM has signed on as the first affiliate station of the Floydian Slip radio show.

Our show will resume production Sept. 19. WBKM, which stands for “Burlington’s Kinda Music,” will carry the show 10 p.m. Saturdays.

Owned and operated by Tony Gallucci and Eric Koval in downtown Burlington, Vt., the station began netcasting an eclectic mix of programming in November 2007.

Floydian Slip went off the air June 7 after a more than 13-year run on Champ 101.3 in Burlington.
