Join us for a special Floydian Slip this weekend: On Show #764, we welcome guest Ron Geesin.
Ron collaborated with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters on the film soundtrack “Music from The Body,” released 40 years ago, Nov. 28.
He’ll be sitting in for part of the show talking about his work on that album, as well as Floyd’s “Atom Heart Mother.”

Avant-garde multimedia artist Ron Geesin will appear on “Floydian Slip” next weekend.
Geesin collaborated on the 1970 film soundtrack “Music from The Body” with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. That album turns 40 years old Nov. 28.
Geesin also worked with the band on its 1970 “Atom Heart Mother” album, struggling to handle orchestrations on the epic “Atom Heart Mother Suite” while the band was away on tour.
Geesin is only the fourth guest to appear on “Floydian Slip” in the show’s 20-year history. Sleeve designer Storm Thorgerson was on the show in 1997; sound engineer Andy Jackson appeared in 2001; and “Wall” artist Gerald Scarfe was a guest just a few weeks ago.
Geesin will appear on show #764, which will air Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27 and 28.

Floydian Slip appears in this morning’s Rutland Herald and Times Argus, sister publications in Rutland and Barre, Vt.
The article, by the paper’s Business Editor Bruce Edwards, bosses the front page of Section B.
“In one hour you’ll learn things not only about Pink
Floyd, but also society, culture and history,” ErrorFM Program Director Barry Funkhouser says in the article. “It’s genuine, honest and real.”
“Almost as soon as we began airing the show a year ago, listeners were e-mailing and calling with their positive feedback,” says Ed Kelly, Program Director of 94.5 The Drive, the Floydian affiliate in Rutland.

Join us for a special Floydian Slip this weekend: On Show #761, we welcome guest Gerald Scarfe.
Gerald’s the man behind the art and animation that appeared on Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” album, and subsequent stage shows and 1982 feature film, directed by Sir Alan Parker.
He’ll be sitting in throughout the show, chatting about his work with Floyd, and we’ll mix in a few cuts from “The Wall,” in its various forms, for good measure.
