“Floydian Slip” coming to KZHP 93.3 FM (Sacramento, CA)

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KZHP 93.3 FM in Sacramento, CA, starting Tuesday, Feb. 6. The station will carry the show Tuesdays at 8 p.m. PT.

“K-ZAP” is a non-commercial low-power FM (LPFM) station serving the Sacramento metropolitan area.

We make available our show free to non-commercial broadcasters operating in markets that are not served by a commercial “Floydian Slip” affiliate.

KZHP is an homage to the original KZAP that broadcast a free-form rock format to Sacramento at 98.5 FM from 1968 to ’92.

KZAP is the latest station to join the Random Precision Radio Network, a collection of nearly 100 broadcasters that air “Floydian Slip,” produced in our Shelburne, Vt., studio.

“Floydian Slip” is featured in this week’s Seven Days, a weekly newspaper published in Burlington, Vt.

Thanks to writer Ken Picard and photographer Matthew Thorsen.

Seven Days is Floydian Slip’s local alternative weekly. We’re heard on WIZN 106.7 FM in Burlington and WDVT 94.5 FM in Rutland — both areas served by the paper —  and our secret basement broadcast lab is in nearby Shelburne.

Roger Waters to appear on Lucius album

Roger Waters will make a guest appearance on the upcoming Lucius album “Nudes.”

Waters is featured on the band’s cover of Lead Belly’s “Goodnight Irene.”

Lucius is a four-person L.A.-based band most recognizable for its look-alike lead vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig. The pair provided backing vocals on Waters’ recent Us + Them tour.

“Nudes” is an acoustic collection of original and re-recorded Lucius tracks, as well as cover songs, recorded over two days at Electric Lady Studios in New York City.

The album drops March 2 and is available now for pre-order now.
