Posted October 25, 2009 by Floydian Slip

Pink Floyd‘s 1979 double-album “The Wall” is the cover story on the new issue of Mojo magazine.

The issue includes a new interview with Roger Waters by David Fricke, as well as information about the band’s 1980/81 tour.

The CD that comes with the issue is a re-recording of “The Wall” by a variety of artists, including Sweet Billy Pilgrim, The Young Republic, The Amazing, Astra, Woodpigeon and others.

“The Wall” was released 30 years ago, Nov. 30, 1979.

  1. Gavin Snowdon says:

Another Cover Cd from Mojo, another nice listen, another CD on the shelf… BadaBing. Oh My sweet lord its sublime, utterly magical. Thankyou and thankyou again. CANNOT wait for part 2. Listening to it I can almost see Waters nodding approval to every single track and even a slight shake of “we should have done it like that” on occasion. It just proves that when the source material is that good it can be built upon, morphed, twisted, polishe and un-polished and the result can be this incredible. THANKYOU
