(Kinda) new Comfortably Numb cover

Posted January 4, 2010 by Floydian Slip

Prog-jazz trio The Bad Plus has included a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” on the group’s album “For All I Care.”

The recording includes Minneapolis alt-rock vocalist Wendy Lewis (The Plus).

The album also includes covers of other classic cuts by Yes (“Long Distance Runaround”), the Bee Gees (“How Deep Is Your Love”) and Heart (“Barracuda”).

“For All I Care” was released 11 months ago, Feb. 3, 2009 — but if you’re like us, it’s new to you.
