Posted September 22, 2011 by Floydian Slip

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” will feature a Pink Floyd song each night of the week next week. The band’s Roger Waters and Nick Mason will also appear on the show.

On Monday, The Shins will perform “Breathe” from “The Dark Side of the Moon,” with Mason appearing for an interview. Tuesday Waters will join Foo Fighters to perform “In the Flesh” from “The Wall.” He’ll also be interviewed by Fallon.

MGMT performs “Lucifer Sam” Wednesday; country artist Dierks Bentley will do “Wish You Were Here” Thursday; and Pearl Jam appears Friday to do “Mother.”

The program airs at 12:35 a.m. ET on NBC.

The week of Floyd is timed to coincide with the beginning of the Why Pink Floyd? remaster campaign.
