What a brilliant and timely revelation! WYWH is my all – time favourite piece of my music and almost anything to do with this classic album gets my attention! Can’t wait!!!

  2. Alan Day says:

Very nice, look forward to it as ER do a great job. It is a pity that the Eagle rock videos (like the DSotM one) are not included in the Immersion sets. Mine lives in the Immersion set box now along with the book by John Harris (more insightful than marbles) – that’s now a REALLY immersive set!

HOPE TO SEE A CONTEST TO WIN IT

  4. We’re expecting giveaway copies a little closer to the release date.

Roger’s remark about the song Wish You Were Here really expanded my sense of what the song is about. I related to the lyrics about going over the same old ground already, but his remarks on the vh1 classic broadcast version of this DVD really crystallized what the song is about. It’s not nearly as much about Syd or even the Floyd’s non-presence in the studio and writing process for the album. Those things inform the song, of course, but it’s really Roger encouraging himself despite big fears to be engaged, to live, to connect with others. I didn’t think that the song could be made any more powerful for me. I was wrong.
