“Floydian Slip” coming to Xtreme Metal Radio

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on Xtreme Metal Radio next weekend. The station will carry the show  Sundays at 2 p.m. ET.

Xtreme Metal Radio is an online station dedicated to metal, with, apparently, a weekly diversion into Pink Floyd.

More than 30 affiliate stations have now joined the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

“Floydian Slip” reaches 3,000 Facebook fans; contest winner announced

The “Floydian Slip” Facebook page hit 3,000 fans over the weekend, so we’re announcing the winner of the contest we started in March (“Contest: Like us on Facebook and win”).

David Thomasson of Little Rock, AR, was drawn at random from all fans. He wins:

  • “A Foot in the Door: The Best of Pink Floyd” CD (2011)
  • “The Pink Floyd Experience” graphic novel (May 2010)
  • A sealed copy of “Classic Rock Present Prog” featuring Roger Waters and “The Wall” on the cover (September 2010)
