Up for bid: Original interview working tapes

Posted May 24, 2012 by Floydian Slip

We’ve put up for bid some interesting working tapes from the 2001 “Floydian Slip” interview with Pink Floyd recording engineer Andy Jackson.

These tapes were the result of assembling Jackson’s responses with our own re-recorded questions. Host Craig Bailey conducted the interview over the phone, without bothering to record the questions. Jackson recorded himself in a professional studio on his end for high fidelity, and mailed “Floydian Slip” a CD, which he’d burned at Astoria, David Gilmour‘s houseboat recording studio.

In addition to working with Floyd since “The Wall” movie (1982), Jackson’s an accomplished recording engineer who’s worked with Dream Academy and Boomtown Rats, among others.

Bid at eBay.
