Posted March 11, 2013 by Floydian Slip

EMI will issue a pink vinyl 45 of Pink Floyd’s “See Emily Play” for Record Store Day.

The limited edition, only available at stores participating in the international event April 20, will be backed with “The Scarecrow,” like the original 45, issued in 1967.

Packaging will include an EMI house bag, a card insert with the original Syd Barrett artwork of a train, and a reproduction of the original in-store poster.

Quantities will be limited to the numbers pre-ordered by the countries involved, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, UK, and the US.

The disc was mastered by long-time Floyd engineer Andy Jackson.
