Posted November 11, 2013 by Floydian Slip

The “Floydian Slip” radio show has come full-circle by returning to the airwaves of the city where it debuted nearly 25 years ago: Ithaca, N.Y.

Classic rock station WLLW will start carrying the show Sunday nights at 9 beginning Nov. 17. “The Wall” broadcasts at 99.3 FM in Geneva, N.Y., and to the city of Ithaca at 96.3 FM.

“Floydian Slip” is a weekly Pink Floyd show produced by Craig Bailey of Shelburne, Vt. He aired his first episode in 1989 on Ithaca College’s 106-VIC when he was a senior Television-Radio major.

He produced the show for Burlington, Vt.’s short-lived WEXP 105.1 FM (Experience 105.1) in 1994, and for 13 years at WCPV 101.3 FM, Burlington, before syndicating in 2009.

“Floydian Slip” is currently heard on nearly 50 stations in the U.S., Canada and overseas.

Shine on, Finger Lakes! Nice to be back.
