Roger Waters announces 2017 North American tour

Posted October 13, 2016 by Floydian Slip

Roger Waters has announced a 40-date North American tour coming in 2017.

“Us + Them” is the project recently teased in a 20-second video posted online by Waters.

“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” says Waters. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things.

“Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”

The tour begins May 26 in Kansas City, Mo., and wraps up Oct. 28 in Vancouver, BC.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 21. VIP package sales and Citi presale tickets begin Oct. 17.

Full schedule is available at rogerwaters.com.

Maybe the 1%r’s can enjoy and let Us 99%r’s how the Concert was!
Anybody seen the prices for this???
    ??????

For sure, hence the name, “Us and Them” is an an appropriate name for this tour. With a net worth of $250 million he certainly isn’t doing it for the “Money”.I guess they made him into a monster because he ‘s going out.Maybe he should change the name of the tour to “Wish You Were Here”, oh wait that would risk a law suit and all the corporate greed he despises.Maybe something Orwellian like “Pigs”, oh wait that s been done too.”Hey You”? Maybe some new material like “Outside the Concert Arena”? Or “Another Dollar in my Bank Account,pt. 5”

  3. Roger Waters concerts are a lot like gourmet food; subtle, sublimely complex, and delectable-yet totally unaffordable or budget breaking. I’ll buy the blu-ray and look forward to the new concept album; but unless Mr. Waters buys one of my paintings for 500 dollars ; I’ll have to leave the 200 dollar nosebleed seats to some rich Hillary Clinton contributor.
