Pink Floyd co-founder/drummer Nick Mason will perform early Floyd music with his new band Saucerful of Secrets in London next month.

The band consists of Mason, Spandau Ballet‘s Gary Kemp, former Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, Blockheads guitarist Lee Harris, and producer/composer Dom Beken.

The band will play selections from “The Piper at the Gates of Dawn” and “A Saucerful of Secrets” May 20 at Dingwalls in Camden, before giving three shows at the Half Moon in Putney May 21, 23 and 24.

These will be Mason’s first live performances since Floyd played Live 8 in London in 2005. He is the only member of Pink Floyd to appear on each of the band’s albums.

Tickets went on sale at 10 this morning at the band’s website.
