Register to win a copies of Roger Waters’ “Dark Side” remake “The Dark Side of the Moon Redux”^†; and the 50th anniversary clear vinyl UV-printed set of “The Dark Side of the Moon.”

Recorded over five months in Brighton and London, this is Gilmour’s first album of new material in nine years. The record was produced by Gilmour and Charlie Andrew, best known for his work with ALT-J and Marika Hackman; with lyrics mostly by Polly Samson, Gilmour’s wife and co-writer for the past 30 years.

P-Floyd wins Surrogate Bands Pink Floyd Cover Contest

P-Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band from Dalarna, Sweden, has won our 12th Annual Surrogate Bands Pink Floyd Cover Contest.

The group took the prize with its cover of “Pigs (Three Different Ones).”

Formed in 1993 by guitarist Jan Stumsner, the group has sold-out concert halls in Sweden and Scandinavia. Its 2016 shows at Dalhalla earned the band “Live Act of the Year” at the Dalecarlia Music Awards.

This past week, P-Floyd had its winning entry played on “Floydian Slip” episode #1473 — a special episode of our weekly Floyd radio show that was devoted entirely to other bands’ recordings of Floyd music.

The group also receives merchandise from the official webstore of Pink Floyd, shop.pinkfloyd.com.

This Blu-ray disc includes high-resolution stereo and 5.1 mixes alongside the original 1977 stereo mix. The album artwork has been reimagined by Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell of Hipgnosis. It’s presented in a digipak with a 16-page booklet, sticker and a postcard.

The Dark Side of the Moon clear vinyl

This is a limited edition single-sided 2LP set pressed on clear 180g vinyl. It features UV artwork printing on each non-groove side, and comes in a gatefold sleeve with slipcase and exclusive poster.

This is the first time Pink Floyd has used this UV printing process on vinyl. The images are printed with a high-end UV printer, using UV-LED light to dry the permanent ink.
