Floydian Slip coming to KRHV, Mammoth Lakes, CA

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KRHV 93.3 FM in Mammoth Lakes, CA, on May 12. The station will carry the show Thursdays at 4 p.m. (MT).

KRHV is a 1,000-watt station serving “Sierra’s Best Rock” to the Mammoth Lakes/Big Pine area along the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada mountains between California and Nevada.

More than 30 affiliate stations have now joined the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip swinging over to Kong Internet radio

Floydian Slip is coming to Internet radio station Kong “Monster Rock.”

The classic rocker will stream the show each Tuesday night at 11 p.m. (ET).

Kong is part of the Radio Domination Network, which also includes “Floydian Slip” affiliate KXRX: The X.

Floydian Slip coming to KRSN, Los Alamos

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KRSN 1490 AM in Los Alamos, NM, on April 19. The station will carry the show Tuesdays at 7 p.m. (MT).

KRSN is a 1,000-watt station serving an eclectic mix of music and news to the Los Alamos region, north of Albuquerque.

KRSN becomes the 28th affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip coming to KJKB, Jacksboro, TX

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KJKB 95.5 FM “The Boss” in Jacksboro, TX, on April 16. The station will carry the show Saturdays at 12 noon (CT).

The Boss is a 6,000-watt rock station serving the area between Dallas-Fort Worth and Wichita Falls.

The Boss becomes the 27st affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip coming to ClassX, Cincinnati

Distant early warning: “Floydian Slip” will begin airing on the three-stations of ClassX serving Cincinnati on May 21. The stations, which simulcast a single signal, will carry the show Saturdays at 6 p.m. (ET).

The stations of ClassX are:

  • WMWX 88.9 FM, a 4,600-watt station in Miamitown, OH
  • WKCX 89.1 FM, a 10,000-watt station in Crittenden, KY
  • WYNS 89.3 FM, a 100-watt station in Waynesville, OH

Cincinnati is the second largest market, the nation’s 28th largest, to carry “Floydian Slip,” after WXRC 95.7 “The Ride” in Charlotte, NC (#24), picked up the show last month.

ClassX is owned by Bill Spry‘s Spry Group Multimedia LLC.

The three stations of ClassX become the 24th through 26th to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip coming to WRSG, West Virginia

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on WRSG 91.5 FM, on April 10. The station will carry the show Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET).

WRSG “Knights Radio” is a 900-watt non-commercial station licensed to the Tyler County School District in Middlebourne, WV, and operated by the Tyler Consolidated High School. Greg Goodfellow is the station’s General Manager.

WRSG becomes the 23rd affiliate, and first non-commercial station, to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip coming to Coolradio, Bavaria

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on Coolradio in Eichstaett, Bavaria, Germany, on April 11. The station’s Channel 1 will carry the show Mondays at 9 p.m. (CET).

Coolradio is a digital audio broadcasting (DAB) station in Eichstaett, which is also carried on FM cable at 103.1 in neighboring Ingolstadt, 100 km north of Munich. The station’s also available on the Internet.

DAB, more common in Europe than the U.S., is to radio as high-definition (HD) is to TV. Listeners need a special DAB receiver to listen to the high-quality, digital signal, which is transmitted over the air.

Coolradio becomes the 22nd affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

Floydian Slip coming to 94.1 The Loon, Minnesota

“Floydian Slip” will begin airing on KKLN 94.1 FM “The Loon” in Willmar, MN, on April 9. The station will carry the show Saturdays at 5 a.m. and Sundays at 9 p.m. (CT).

The Loon is a 6,000-watt rock station serving the Willmar region west of Minneapolis.

The Loon becomes the 21st affiliate to join the show’s Random Precision Radio Network, created in Summer 2009 when we began syndicating our show from our Vermont studio.

It’s the second station in Minnesota to carry the show, after Faribault’s KQCL “Power 96.”

KMGI listeners vote Pink Floyd top band

Listeners of “Floydian Slip” affiliate Classic Rock 102.5 (KMGI) have voted Pink Floyd the best band in the station’s “Tournament of Rock” contest.

Floyd beat The Beatles, 184-176, in the final battle of the March Madness-inspired competition this morning.

Floyd made it to the final battle after beating Jethro Tull, ZZ Top, Moody Blues, David Bowie and Led Zeppelin.

Well done, crazy diamonds …

Floyd v. Beatles, Monday

Pink Floyd will fight its last battle in “Floydian Slip” affiliate Classic Rock 102.5’s “Tournament of Rock” Monday morning. The band will go up against The Beatles for bragging rights at the top spot of best band of all time.

The station will play three songs by each band, beginning at approximately 8:05 a.m. (MT), with voting open until about 8:50 a.m.

If you’d like to cast your ballot, call the station at (208) 235-1025 or toll-free at (866) 900-KMGI just after 8:05 a.m. Monday and simply say the name of the band you choose.

Floyd beat Led Zeppelin Friday, 113-94, to push them to the final battle.
